Summer Font Combinations

Summer is in full swing!  Heck, before we know it Fall will be here.  However, there is still plenty of time for pool parties, barbeques, and long days at the beach.  I thought I’d put together a quick roundup of summer-ish fonts that will look great on invites, place cards, and any other printables would be used at various summer events and activities.  There’s a few script fonts, some sans-serif, and even some fun serifs in the mix.  

To me summer is all about being laid back, relaxing, and taking in the hot sun (with sunscreen of course!).  These fonts personify all of those things to me, and take me to a real happy place.  Its funny how a font, much like a photo or smell, can spark memories or daydreams.  I may not be able to go on vacation this year, but I can dream up summer fun while I’m designing and making my travel wishlist for next year.
