Today, I’m sharing one way you can foster growing your blog or business through having email opt-in bar on your site. An email opt-in bar is a bar on your site, either at the bottom or top that allows visitors to opt-in to subscribe to your email list, offer, or even follow you on a particular social media platform. As you can see on Bliss & Faith, I have my bar at the bottom, which I explain in the video.
This makes it super simple for visitors to sign up to receive my free Assessing & Defining Brand Worksheet. In the past, I’ve used opt-in bars for many different reasons, but by far this method has been the most effective and the one I see the most conversions from. Whatever reason you choose to have an opt-in bar for, its a great way and non-distracting way to convert visitors to subscribers. Plus, unlike many unsightly and unappreciated pop-ups, you’re not shoving your offer in the faces of your visitors or forcefully asking them to follow you on a social media platform.
