The Homefront • Its been a busy month already, but I’m so happy, because I’d rather be busy than not.  Business-wise, personal-wise, everything…its a busy time and its only going to get busier.  The holidays are right around the corner, like Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away and I’m not even ready.  Around here, we start our Thanksgiving shopping early, like during the early October usually and we are just now getting started.

The Businessfront • Busy, and I’m loving it!  I love being a #BossLady and being my own boss for once.  I’m so happy that things are picking up and its truly a blessing.  I’m continuing to work everyday on sharpening my skills as a graphic designer and web developer, but I’m also striving for balance everyday.  Gone are the 3 A.M. nights up late working, because its just not healthy.  I have a husband and son that need me, and as bad as we need to improve our financial situation, I have to take care of myself.  I know the goals I have for myself and my business, and I know that they will get accomplished in due time and not by forcing it.  Staying up until 3 in the morning is forcing it.

Everything else • Not loving that its getting cold, talked about my dislike for the cold weather in this post. #NaBloPoMo has me back to posting everyday and it feels just like old times.  I know why I stopped posting everyday, but now that NaBloPoMo has me posting daily, I might start back.  I’ll keep y’all posted on that though.  I was extremely hesitate to even commit for NaBloPoMo, because I felt like with everything I have going on that blogging wasn’t as much of a priority as it had been in the past.  Well, I’ve already realized that it is and my love for it has been revitalized.  I’ve got my groove back and I’m motivated for the first time in months to really give my blog 100%. Yay! 🙂

  1. That’s good stuff!
Currently for me, I’m actually enjoying the sleepy coziness of November. Usually.. well… I struggle. I’m a spring/summer girl.
And my business is still going strong, even though it generally dies down by the holidays.
